Bringing new narratives from the Caribbean and diaspora to life and a screen near you, MENTAL TELEPATHY PICTURES is a multi-platform content production and sales company.

The company's first feature film, "SPRINTER", written & directed by Storm Saulter and executive produced by Will & Jada Pinkett Smith, won 3 Awards at the 2018 American Black Film Festival - Audience Award for Best Film, Jury Award for Best Film and Best Director, and has gone on to claim top prize at several festivals including Los Angeles' PAN AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL, the Bahamas International Film Festival, Guadeloupe's Nouveaux Regards festival and BLACKSTAR in addition to prestigious selection and screenings at The Smithsonian and British Film Institute who hailed it as "Jamaica's energetic, emotional, and endearing return to the world cinema stage."

In 2019 the film received theatrical releases in the U.S.A., United Kingdom, and the Caribbean and  is currently available via HULU in North America and the Multichoice Network (MNet) throughout English Speaking Africa.

In 2020, the company produced Joshua Kissi and Leah Thomas' directorial debut "GRACE: Love in Three Acts" in tandem with Lena Waithe's Hillman Grad Productions and iOne Digital.

In that same year, the company launched its first branded content series "THE SPORTS GAP with RICHARD JEFFERSON", a sports variety show which has amassed over 1 MILLION VIEWS on Youtube in just two short seasons.

Up next is Storm Saulter’s feature film "TREASURE BEACH", Isabella Issa's "YELLOW GIRL & ME", Tanya Hamilton's "SHOOT THE GIRL, and Gabrielle Blackwood’s feature narrative debut “KENDAL”.

The current sales slate includes festival darlings "Better Mus' Come", "Ghett'a Life", 2021 Tribeca Film Festival Winner "The Novice" and the 2021 IDA Best Music Doc Award Winner  "Universe".

Mental Telepathy Pictures was founded by Jamaican-American attorney Robert A. Maylor, who has held industry positions at United Talent Agency (UTA), Mark Burnett’s One Three Media Company and Magnolia Pictures where he was most recently the Director of International Sales. Maylor is a graduate of Princeton University, William & Mary Law School and USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program.
